Seven members of TVEC’s operations group made the trip to Seguin to compete in the Texas Lineman’s Rodeo on July 21.

The event gives lineworkers a chance to put their skills to the test while connecting with other co-op and municipal line crews from around the state.

TVEC’s competition team of Carlos Cruz, Zach Pollett and Mauricio Robles took second place in the Pole Climb speed event, and the barbecue team of Lance Robison and Brandon Bittinger won second prize with their dessert entry.

Linemen Mack Brewer and Victor Garcia served as judges for the event, ensuring competitors followed best practices for work and safety.
