1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 pound ground pork
5 eggs
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
1 red onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon oil
4 hamburger buns
Mayonnaise
1 avocado, sliced
4 ounces gorgonzola cheese, sliced
1 red onion, sliced
2 tomatoes, sliced
6 slices bacon, fried and crumbled

  • Mix together beef, pork, 1 egg, parsley and salt and pepper to taste. Mix in red onion. Form mixture into four patties. Chill in the refrigerator for 15 to 30 minutes to let patties firm to shape.
  • Coat skillet with oil and add patties, cooking about 4-5 minutes per side turning once, or until they reach the desired level of doneness. Remove from pan and allow to rest.
  • Fry four eggs in remaining fat in pan. Assemble the burgers on buns with toppings and slide a fried egg onto top of each.
