It’s Mardi Gras—Nocona Style! Saturday, Feb.11 will be the 2nd Annual Mardi Gras Celebration in downtown Nocona. Bring the whole family and make it a tailgating party, too! There will be a traditional Mardi Gras prade with a little different touch to celebrate Nocona’s heritage as well. There will beads (lots of beads), necklaces, music, food and fun for all ages. Wear your costumes, or at least a mask, and come join us! Parade starts at 4pm followed by homemade Cajun cooking at Daddy Sam’s Saloon. Tickets are $5 per plate, kids under 12 free! Tickets available at the Nocona Chamber of Commerce(in the Tales ‘n’ Trails Museum) or at The Veranda Inn. More floats(or bands, cars, motorcycles, etc.) are wanted for parade!
