Huntsville Public Library, in conjunction with Walker County Genealogical Society, presents a Spring Genealogical Weekend March 2–4, 2012, at the Library’s newly renovated and expanded location in historic Huntsville, Texas. The weekend begins the afternoon of Friday, March 2, following the annual commemoration of General Sam Houston’s Birthday. Friday includes a presentation on the “Gene” in Genealogy plus where best to research in Huntsville; Saturday includes three live networked presentations from FamilySearch experts; Sunday reveals how to enhance research using Texas Prison Records and the treasures found in County Courthouses.
